
Darren Colston is a Bay Area filmmaker who has produced and worked on projects ranging from music videos for the likes of the Black Eyed Peas, documentaries, network television such as Gus Van Sant’s ABC series When We Rise and narrative films like Sully, Steve Jobs and Ava Duvernay’s A Wrinkle in Time. Darren is the co-founder of BlackSQR Productions, which has produced a range of creative works, including the web-series The North Pole which was co-produced by Movement Generation and Rosario Dawson.

Shaunnah Ray is an Oakland, CA native who is committed to applying her passion for the performing arts and multimedia expression to perpetuate effective activism in her communities. Shaunnah produced for KPFA’s Full Circle, Evening News, and Free Speech Radio News as well as National Radio Project’s Making Contact. Shaunnah works with Dnaga’s Girl Project as the program coordinator. Shaunnah also serves as the Theater Assistant at EastSide Arts Alliance’s Cultural Center and has worked with the Afro Urban Society in partnership with Dance Mission Theater and the Ubuntu Theater in Oakland in lighting design.

Yvan Iturriaga is an Oakland, based writer/director who spent his childhood border crossing through Latin America, living in the extended Chilean exile community. He co-directed the documentaries A Photographer’s Journey for the PBS American Masters series, and Fantastic Negrito: Have You Lost Your Mind Yet? Yvan also wrote and directed the narrative shorts Sui Generis, Beep and Aparecides. Most recently, Yvan directed the anthology mini series Normal Ain't Normal, executive produced by Rosario Dawson.

Dania Cabello is an accomplished athlete, entrepreneur, artist and educator. Dania’s centers freedom through film, art, education and play. She played professional soccer in Brazil and the Bay Area. Dania lead youth in explorations of gender constructs through soccer in France was inducted into the Cal Women's Soccer Hall of Fame Dania received San Francisco’s SOMArts Curatorial Residency for her participatory, play-based exhibit “Game Recognize Game”. She was a founding creator and associate producer of the web-series, the North Pole Show. Dania teaches liberatory pedagogy for sports as an adjunct faculty in the Department of Education at St. Mary's college.

Shana Lancaster is a mixed-media artist, costume designer, social entrepreneur and fourth-generation Oakland resident. She has exhibited at galleries throughout the Bay Area including SOMArts, Betti Ono and 111 Minna. Most recently Shana was the costume designer for Tommy Orange’s debut short film, “Unlord the Land,” starring D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai and Martin Sensmeier. She is also the co-founder and former CEO of Mamacitas Cafe, a youth-centered social enterprise.
